Candidates aspiring to join MBA / MSc programmes offered by Institutes of Symbiosis International (Deemed University) [SIU] have to appear for the common, mandatory Symbiosis National Aptitude (SNAP) Online Test 2019. A candidate needs to register for SNAP Test and also register for the Institute(s) offering her/his choice of programme(s) by paying separate registration fee for each programme. If shortlisted, s/he would then need to attend the further admission (GE-PIWAT) process conducted by each of these Institutes individually. Symbiosis National Aptitude Test (SNAP) is national level tests organizes by Symbiosis International University to offer PG courses. It is a university level entrance examination through which candidates can get admission in management courses (MBA) offered by various associated institutions of Symbiosis University and conducted every academic year.

Eligibility Criteria

> Overseas Citizen of India (OCI), Non-Resident Indian (NRI), Person of Indian Origin (PIO), and Foreign National (FN), candidates can also apply.

> Cleared graduation degree from any recognized university or institution with securing minimum 50% marks and 45% (for SC/ST candidates).

> Candidates must obtain the equivalent certificate from the AIU (Association of Indian Universities) who have completed their qualifying degree from any foreign university or institution.

Exam Pattern

  • Type of Question: Questions will be objective type. Each question has 4 responses.
  • There will be MCQ + special questions in each section respectively.
  • Duration: The test duration will be of 120 minutes.
  • 0.25 marks for MCQ & 0.50 marks for special questions will be deducted for each wrong answer.

SNAP Selection Procedure

Admission through SNAP includes Group Exercise (GE), Written Ability Test (WAT) and Personal Interview (PI). SNAP selection procedure is likely to begin in the second week of February 2020 and end by fourth week of the same month. The schedule of Group Exercise (GE), Written Ability Test (WAT) and Personal Interview (PI) will be announced after the announcement of SNAP 2019 result. 

In the selection procedure, final marks of each candidate is calculated keeping in mind their performance on the following parameters.

  • The result will be provided to students in the second week of January 2020 through online mode.
  • Candidates will be shortlisted for various rounds like Group Exercise, Personal Interaction and Writing Ability Test on the basis of SNAP Score.
  • The final merit list will be prepared on the following basis:
